Large square dish RB Bernarda with animal decoration.

Large square dish in fine earthenware, produced by the RB Bernarda factory. The piece features a particularly graphic stylised animal decoration: black silhouettes of animals arranged in concentric registers, rhythmically interspersed with delicate golden cross patterns and framed by soft green vegetal friezes, all set against an ivory background. The design, both naive and highly structured, gives the whole a strong decorative presence. Its generous size of 38 × 38 cm makes it a choice piece, suitable as both a serving dish and a standalone decorative element. Stamped RB – Bernarda – PAL – Solafrance. In excellent vintage condition, with the decoration and gilding very well preserved and highly shiny, just some signs of use underneath the base (see photos). Dimensions 38 × 38 cm. An ideal piece for a chic cottage decoration, elegant and timeless.
