Vintage design. Italian Space Age floor lamp by Guzzini. The plastic lampshade in the shape of a balloon is translucent white. It is held at the top by a support connected to the socket. The lampshade can be freely adjusted along the chrome stem of the lamp base, giving the lamp a varied appearance and lighting effect. A knurled ring on the lamp head secures the lampshade in place. A distinctive feature is the large round base. The edge extends beyond the base, creating a shadow space on the floor. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
