Modified Italian space age Lucerna floor lamp by Guzzini, 1960s.

Vintage design. Italian Space Age floor lamp by Guzzini. Special version with a custom lampshade by an artist. The balloon shade is usually translucent. The surface of this unique model is painted light grey. Symmetrical holes are cut all around the edge of the lampshade and covered with translucent plastic. The light primarily illuminates downwards while creating a circular light effect. The lampshade can be freely adjusted in height on the chrome pole of the floor lamp, offering different lighting effects. A knurled screw on the top is used to secure it. The heavy plate base is covered in chrome with a slight overhang that creates a shadow on the floor. The electrical cable runs through transparent acrylic elements on the pole. The lamp is equipped with a foot switch. The condition is very good with signs of wear and patina.
