Pair of antique candlesticks in brass, bronze, and Sèvres porcelain – Floral decoration –

Elegant pair of antique candlesticks in brass, patinated bronze, and cobalt blue glazed porcelain, decorated with polychrome floral medallions. Each candlestick rests on a finely moulded circular base in brass, adorned with friezes and fluting. The central shaft consists of a deep blue porcelain element, featuring a cartouche on the front with a delicate hand-painted floral design (country bouquets in shades of pink, green, and yellow). The upper part in bronze takes on a stylised corolla shape with a tulip-shaped binet resting on a leaf motif. The whole presents a classic style inspired by the Napoleonic III / 19th century, blending decorative bronze and romantic porcelain. Generally in good used condition. The bronze and brass have an aged patina with signs of oxidation and wear consistent with age. Small signs of time visible (see photos). No visible cracks or breaks on the porcelain.
