Elegant pair of large antique brass candlesticks in the Louis XVI style, probably made in the second half of the 19th century. Their slender silhouette is accentuated by a rich decoration of fluting, grooves, and water leaves, resting on a wide circular base adorned with a beaded edge. The beautiful golden patina of the brass, with its slight signs of use, pleasantly highlights the reliefs and confirms their antique character. The underside of the bases features an old mounting with a central stem, showing traces of turning and a matte fixing, consistent with 19th-century craftsmanship.
