Small ceramic saucepan from the 1960s by Robert Picault. This is one of Picault's "utility" pieces, which launched his motto: "from the kitchen to the table" with green and red-brown geometric decorations. He created these everyday ceramics alongside his personal artistic production, but they remain just as decorative today. This piece can be placed on a table with olives or small snacks, but also on a wall or piece of furniture as decoration. The handle is pierced on the back and bottom, making it easy to hang on the wall by hooking it onto a nail or screw. The ceramic is signed underneath with the initials "RP", a signature used for everyday pieces. For his personal work, he signed "PICAULT".
