"Pine cone" box By Manet, hand-moulded artist ceramic

Covered ceramic box signed ByManet, created by the ceramist Emmanuelle Musset, based in the Paris region. It is a contemporary piece, hand-shaped. Its decoration is inspired by the pine cone: the petals are applied one by one, in successive layers, on both the body and the lid, which is topped with a small flower. The glossy glaze is brown-pink, with lovely colour gradients. The interior is glazed in a light blue, with a shiny finish, providing a nice contrast at the opening. The ByManet mark is stamped under the base. It is in overall good condition but has a few particularities, visible in the photos: Firing cracks at the bottom of the interior, with a cracked glaze in that area. A small chip is missing (broken) on the lid and another chip has been discreetly reattached. It will find its place on a console, coffee table, or shelf, to store jewellery or small objects, or simply as a decorative piece. Dimensions: 16 X 16 X 16 cm / height of the container: 10 cm. Shipped with care, secured and packaged with the lid separated. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the items and their delivery. Feel free to explore my Selency shop.
