An interesting breakfast set produced by the victoria tableware factory in karlovy vary in the 1980s in the czech republic. The set consists of a cup, saucer and small plate. Set in purple marble painting with gilded elements. The item is in very good original condition, with minimal signs of use. Signed items. Cup dimensions: Height 6.5 cm|width 10 cm|diameter 8 cm. Cup dimensions in inches: Height 2.6 in|width 3.9 in|diameter 3.1 in. The factory was founded in 1883 in karlsbad (karlovy vary) by the london company lazarus & rosenfeld ltd. In 1885, the company was bought by franz schmidt and changed its name to porzellanfabrik victoria schmidt & co. In 1927, it was transformed into a joint-stock company porzellanfabrik victoria ag. In 1945, the factory, together with the altrohlau porcelain factory, became part of epiag / starorolský porcelán, and in 1958 they became part of karlovarský porcelán stará role II. Currently, the factory is part of thun karlovarský porcelán.
