Glass and chrome-plated metal coffee table by Philippe Parent, France, 1970s. Philippe Parent (born 1950) is a French interior architect and designer, a graduate of the École Boulle. After collaborating with figures such as Audrey Hepburn and Fiona von Thyssen, he founded his own studio in Paris in 1978. His style combines harmony, culture, and traditional craftsmanship, with a predilection for understated luxury. He has designed furniture, lighting, and textiles for prestigious houses such as Daum and Charles de Gaulle. Passionate about live performance, he has also created sets for the Opéra de Massy and the Palais Garnier. His creations are exhibited internationally and produced in limited editions.
