Empire console in mahogany and white marble – Restoration period. Elegant Restoration period console in flamed mahogany, resting on two scroll-shaped supports finished with powerful lion paw sculpted feet. The undulating lower crossbar harmoniously connects the supports and reinforces the overall stability. The top is adorned with a beautiful white veined marble with a softened edge, perfectly suited to the sober and monumental lines of the piece. The mahogany veneers display remarkable flamed grain, offering rich reflections. This console perfectly illustrates the transition between the Empire style and the Restoration, combining the vigour of ancient forms with a lighter elegance. It will find its place in an entrance hall, a living room, or a quality classical decor.
