Old footstool in solid wood 19th century

The very small bench is in very good condition, no breakage, no missing items. It is made of solid wood, consisting of a top and two legs, assembled by tenons. It is stable, the assemblies do not move. However, it is very old, and the wood is very weathered, hollowed by wear on the top, which gives it a crazy charm. It has retained its beautiful original patina and has been entirely waxed with natural beeswax. For maintenance, simply rub it from time to time with a soft cloth. It can be waxed again at will if necessary. It is a unique piece, an object of french regional popular art, made by hand by some skilled handyman, probably from pieces of reused wood, and dating from the second half of the 19th century. The small stool can act as both a footrest and a display base for a curious object or a sculpture, for example... Small extra seat ideal for children.
