French billiards table from the Empire period in mahogany, resting on four tapered legs with fluted bases, typical of the early 19th century style. The apron is richly adorned with applied bronzes: a central laurel crown, finely chiselled attributes and decorative motifs, giving an elegant and classic character to the whole. The playing surface is covered with a green cloth (worn, to be replaced), revealing a beautiful old structure with a solid oak frame. The generous proportions make it a piece that is both functional for play and decorative, ideal for a characterful interior. Very nice patina of the wood, with signs of use consistent with its age. Period: 19th century, Empire period. Materials: Mahogany, bronzes. Dimensions: Length: 230 cm. Width: 140 cm. Height: 86 cm. Condition: Used condition, fabric very worn and needs to be replaced. Structure is sound. Museum piece.
