Handmade wooden folding chair from the Florence region, Italy, from the 1970s. This so-called Savonarola chair offers a comfortable seat, thanks to its sculpted backrest. The finesse of the woodwork provides a matte/satin contrast that highlights the reliefs. The armrests, also sculpted, end in lion heads. Its folding structure made of wide wooden slats gives it a great visual lightness despite its size. A very beautiful presence, combining mastery, character, elegance, comfort, and ingenuity.
