Westnofa Siesta leather lounge chair by Ingmar Relling, 1960

A Siesta armchair in a beautiful, rich chocolate brown with an additional cushion in the headrest and armrests. The leather of the armchair is soft and well-preserved, showing slight signs of wear and tear, and shows slight cracks in the leather surface in the seating area. The wooden frame is in very good condition. The Siesta remains an icon of comfortable seating to this day. Ingmar Relling designed the Siesta armchair in the 1960s for the Norwegian manufacturer Westnofa, creating a design icon. Crafted from bent beechwood, the armchairs exemplify minimalist design at its finest. The timeless design remains popular and in high demand even today.
