Showcase 18th century

Painted wooden showcase, late 18th / early 19th. This is the upper part of a clock (comtoise), preserved and left in its original "juice". (painting in particular) Side walls and glass door (original glass), wooden bottom. Note that the side walls are removable which also gives lateral access on each side. In its current configuration, the showcase is to be placed on a piece of furniture or other (no background, see photos), the addition of a background is naturally possible and would then allow it to hang on a wall. It is an original piece, aesthetic and full of possibilities in terms of decoration, ideal for a small cabinet of curiosities for example, highlight a status or other... Etc. The addition of concealed lighting in the upper and rounded part is also feasible. Dimensions width 54 cm, height 70 cm, depth 29 cm.
