Modular bookcase by designer George Nelson from the 70s. This ingenious system (css = comprehensive storage system) allows you to place these elements wherever you want on the metal uprights in order to make a composition adapted to your needs. This set consists of: a double door module, a drawer module, an open module with lighting, a set of 8 shelves as well as a curved shelf (not shown in the composition) for displaying books . The 4 metal uprights are to be fixed to the wall for perfect support (possibility of shortening the height if necessary). Then the shelves and modules hang on clamping tabs which slide in the rails on the wall. This bookcase is a real asset for those who want to combine practical storage with aesthetics. The whole thing is made of wood with blackened stained oak veneer. Presence of the stamp of the international furniture publisher inside the boxes. Condition report: I have posted a large number of photos which allow you to have a clear opinion of its condition. This set is in very good state of conservation, no breakage, no missing elements in the door frames. It is vintage so it contains slight scratches and surface rubbing in some places.
