Falkland suspension lamp model by Bruno Munari for Danese Milano.

A classic design by the Italian manufacturer Danese Milano based on a creation by Bruno Munari from the 1960s. The most remarkable element of this lamp is its textile shade. The stretch fabric is partially tensioned with rings and contracts concavely between them, creating a rhythmic pattern characteristic of the Falkland lamps. The shade rests on a conical aluminium reflector. Inside, the socket is high so that the bulb is barely visible, and the light is primarily directed towards the shade via the reflector. The ceiling light is designed with a mounting bracket that matches the shape and colour of the reflector. The lamp is in very good condition and shows hardly any signs of wear.
