Pair of vintage walnut side cabinets with openwork brass and silk.

We are pleased to offer for sale this very practical pair of vintage French walnut side cabinets dating from around 1940-1950, featuring brass grille work and pleated silk curtains. This decorative and aesthetically pleasing pair can be used in a bedroom as very large bedside tables, on either side of a sofa, or against a wall with a lamp on each. The condition is very good; they have been lightly cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. There are some light patina marks related to age and use, as expected. The dimensions at the widest point are: height 74 cm, width 59 cm, depth 42 cm.
