Military buffet Harrods in flame mahogany and leather

We are delighted to present this lovely vintage military buffet from Harrods London, made of flame mahogany with green leather doors adorned with gold leaf. A very well-made and decorative piece. The wood is thick flame mahogany; the doors have been upholstered with green skiver leather panels that have been embellished with gold leaf. These leather panels can be hand-dyed to a wonderful cigar colour for a small additional fee if the new owner wishes. In terms of condition, we have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; there will be normal age and use-related marks here and there, but overall it is in good condition. Dimensions: Height 76.5 cm, Width 179.5 cm, Depth 89 cm. Dimensions under the table: Height 67.5 cm in the middle, 55.5 cm at the lowest point on the sides, Width 146.5 cm. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouse. Condition: Please refer to the very detailed photos as they are part of the description regarding the condition. Please note that original and vintage period items like leather furniture will always show a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear; we recommend regular waxing to prevent any loss of moisture. It is also advised not to leave hand-dyed leather exposed directly to sunlight for long periods as it can dry out and discolour.
