Round rattan side table by Raoul Guys

Modernist round side table made of black wire metal with a woven rattan top. The table comes from France, from the 1950s. The side table is attributed to the designer Raoul Guys. Guys was a French designer and gallery owner from the mid-20th century, known for his stylish furniture made of metal and rattan. Guys is often mentioned together with Mategot, which is not surprising as they knew each other and Mategot's works were exhibited in Guys' galleries in Paris and Marseille.
