Magnificent sugar bowl or covered pot in fine earthenware from Jemmapes (Belgium), manufactured by Cappellemans. This is an authentic piece dating from the mid-19th century, highly sought after for its "Terre de Fer" style. The object is decorated with a romantic oriental scene in forest green and features characterful details: lion head handles on either side and a intricately designed dome lid.
