Magnificent floral piece embroidered and framed in vintage crewel (an english term which includes all embroideries made with wool threads) representing superb blue and mauve flowers. Intricate crewel embroidery in relief and beautifully done on an off-white cotton which highlights a unique know-how with multiple details. Green felt on the back. Good condition. Note, some broken threads, tiny little stains, some threads not sewn and made with the imprint of the model. The frame has some defects and gaps in the corners.
