Superb very large earthenware vase. POËT-LAVAL, dating from the mid-20th century (1960s/1970s) with a floral decoration of anemones. Its wavy tulip-shaped neck, very elegant, gives it a beautiful decorative presence, whether empty or with dried or fresh flowers. Characteristics: • Manufacturer: POËT-LAVAL • Period: mid-20th century. • Material: earthenware. • Decoration: anemones. • Shape: wavy tulip neck. • Height: 26 cm. • Neck diameter: 20 cm. • Weight: 1.6 kg. • Marking: number 26 POËT-LAVAL wavy. • Very good condition, no visible chips or cracks. Uncommon model, I currently have no identical equivalent for sale. Ideal for vintage ceramic enthusiasts, bohemian decor, chic country style, or POËT-LAVAL collectors. • Off-white glaze, slightly satin. • Decoration painted under or on glaze, without overloading. • Corresponds to the artisanal series of the mid-20th century. • Simple numbering ("26") • Mention POËT-LAVAL without modern logo, without standardised "France" mention: → predating the more standardised productions of the 1980s. The dating is estimated, based on the style, shape of the neck, decoration, and POËT-LAVAL marking, which correspond to productions from the mid-20th century. POËT-LAVAL (Drôme) is a French earthenware factory known for its artisanal decorative pieces, produced in small series. Each piece shows slight variations, making it an authentic and unique object.
