A remarkable floral table lamp combining a vintage Royal Delft white ceramic base with a vibrant House of Hackney lampshade, ideal for maximalist, bohemian, eclectic, romantic, English country style, or feminine interiors, and even stunning in a girl's bedroom; newly wired and ready to use. Handcrafted by Amitābha Studio, this striking table lamp brings together a vintage Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) white vase with a bold floral lampshade painted by House of Hackney. The ceramic base comes from the Delft White (Delfts Wit) line of the factory, introduced in the 1930s as a modern evolution of Delft pottery, moving away from traditional blue decoration to sculptural white forms that highlight contour, glaze, and shadow. The lamp is topped with a vibrant drum shade custom-made from House of Hackney's luxurious floral fabric 'Hollyhocks— Spring', designed by American artist Kerry Simmons, which captures the essence of pastoral romanticism, evoking the lush gardens often depicted in the art of Gustav Klimt, while infusing a modern and punk touch. A gold-wrapped fabric cable and brass fittings provide a refined finishing touch. The ceramic vase remains intact under the hardware thanks to Amitābha Studio's non-invasive conversion method.
