Model attributed to Maison Charles (Paris), circa 1960. Description: Table lamp in bronze and gilded brass representing a flowering water lily. The flower is finely crafted in solid bronze with its original golden patina. Technical details: Central structure: Three chiselled bronze pistils with a very clear crossed wicker pattern, typical of Maison Charles. Base: Cubic base in solid brass with a fixing ball joint for the central stem. Lighting: Original double socket system (two angled sockets) designed for optimal light diffusion under the lampshade. Lampshade: So-called "bean" or curved model, in sand/gold colour, with metal reeds finishing the upper and lower edges. Dimensions and Weight: Weight: Approximately 3 kg (characteristic of the solid bronze used by the Charles foundry).
