The iconic PH 5 pendant light was designed by Poul Henningsen and introduced in 1958 as part of his ongoing quest to create perfectly glare-free lighting. Produced by Louis Poulsen, the official manufacturer of PH lamps, this design has become one of the most famous achievements in modern Danish lighting. This version is a vintage model from the 1970s. The lamp is based on Henningsen's revolutionary three-shade system, which directs light downwards and outwards while completely eliminating glare. This thoughtful construction ensures uniform and comfortable illumination, both functional and atmospheric, making the PH 5 ideal for dining rooms, kitchens, and living spaces. It complements many interior styles, including Antique, Classic, Scandinavian, Modern, or Art Deco.
