Rare drop-leaf coffee table in solid chestnut, probably dating from the 1950s-1960s. Its double semi-circular top unfolds or closes according to needs, offering great versatility for use in a living room, hallway, or workspace. The whole piece reflects careful craftsmanship, with a simple finish that highlights the wood's grain. Features: this table has a gate-leg drop-leaf system: two round half-tops fold down on each side, allowing it to transition from a compact table to a generous oval surface. The base consists of straight legs connected by crossbars, typical of post-war design. This low version is particularly sought after as it is much less common than dining versions.
