Papyri Lamp by Sergio Calatroni for Pallucco, 1989

Papiro floor lamps, a famous icon of contemporary design designed by Sergio Calatroni in 1989 for the historic Italian brand Pallucco. Halfway between a light source and a true domestic sculpture, the distinctive feature of the Papiro lies in its ultra-thin and flexible stem, made from a pliable material that allows the user to shape, bend, and direct the lamp's line as desired. The cone-shaped base houses the electrical component and balances the elongated structure upwards, which ends with a coordinated conical diffuser. These two lamps are 270 cm tall. And they are in very good condition.
