Italian Impressionist Oil Painting – Porto di Milano

Capture the sun-drenched romance of mid-century Italy with this exceptional, authentic original oil painting. This striking piece features a vibrant, texturized Mediterranean harbor scene complete with traditional coastal villas, towering cypress trees, and historic fishing vessels resting on brilliantly reflected waters. Painted in the classic Italian Impressionist style, the artist utilizes swift, confident brushstrokes and a rich impasto technique to bring the golden coastal light to life. The painting is beautifully hand-signed in the lower-left corner by Hiorja Nasi, a listed regional artist active in northern Italy during the 1950s and 1960s. Adding incredible historical value, the reverse side of the wooden chassis bears the authentic handwritten inscription "Porto di Milano" (Port of Milan), tracing its origins directly back to the historic post-war gallery trade of Lombardy.
