Beautiful painting by Ernest Viallate, very early 20th century, representing a view of the Venice lagoon. In the background, the campanile and the basilica. Bright and warm colors. The sky is painted as artists did so well in the 19th century, using the same codes. We can see at the back that the painting has undergone a restoration, very cleanly done. The dimensions of the canvas alone are 65 cm X 92 cm. The dimensions with the frame are 74 cm X 101 cm.
