Dimensions – 80 X 85 cm. Seat height – 43 cm. Total height – 75 cm. Very good condition, some normal signs of wear on the uprights (scratches) and on the leather, visible in the close-up photos. A glider is missing under one leg, also visible in the photo. Very beautiful armchairs by Italian designer and architect Gae Aulenti. Known in particular for the restoration and transformation of the Gare d'Orsay into a museum and her Pipistrello lamp, she also worked with the manufacturer Knoll, for whom she created these armchairs with lacquered metal frames and large, soft leather cushions in the 1970s. Here is the all-black version, a marvel!.
