The fonda is a design by Ray and Charles Eames for the New York Restaurant "La Fonda del sol". The backrest is shorter than the seat-so that the chair does not protrude from the edge of a normal dining table. A total of five pieces are available. (Other Presidents of Vitra are also mistakenly referred to as "the fonda," but they are authentic only with very short back.) Original fiber-plastic composite glass shells, frame painted white or enamelled. Size: Height: 73 cm Width: 47 cm Depth: 47 cm State: Good condition. Yellowed plastic profile, shell and frame in original color. No pause, no sitting. The foam is solid.
