Vase Sommerso Murano design Luigi Mandruzzato, 60s

This large sommerso vase of murano attributed to flavio poli is unique in its kind and uses a technique that has become rare engraving with the wheel. Made in the 50s thanks to the sommerso process which consists in superimposing layers of glass, allowing superb color combinations. The result is a glass with contrasting colors that is usually surrounded by a transparent layer. We can see 2 halos of colors; diamond green and gold. Given its age, this vintage vase is in excellent condition. A slight glow on one of the angles but without gravity. These vases (of different colors and sizes) are very pretty in groups.
