Jean-Claude Courjault sandstone mug

Magnificent large enameled stoneware mug with a very particular decoration that immediately brings to mind the work of the ceramist jean-claude courjault. It is not signed but for me, there is little room for doubt: the color of the earth, the colors of the enamels, the patterns, everything matches. I have several pieces signed by this ceramist, and we find many similarities with this mug. But it is up to you to judge now; ) if it is as I think of jean-claude courjault, it is a fairly rare object, because I have never come across a mug by this artist. This is perhaps also what explains why this piece is not signed: perhaps he only signed the larger pieces, or the ceramics with a decorative vocation. This mug is in very good condition, no cracks, perhaps just a small chip, almost invisible, at the edge of the base. It measures 11.5 cm in height, 14 cm in width including the handle, 10 cm in diameter.
