Set dating from the late 19th century consisting of a table from the Thonet factory, model no. 3, featuring an oval top with a moulded edge and a central bent beech leg forming generous volutes characteristic of the Art Nouveau period, along with four bent beech chairs in light wood, attributed to model no. 46 from the J&J Kohn factory, also known as "heart chairs" due to the shape of the backrest and the caned seat. In generally good condition, the paper label from the Thonet Wien manufacturer is still visible on the underside of the top, which has been restored with a varnished plywood board. The four chairs show signs of wear such as: the top part of one backrest being split, the leg and the top of one medallion also split, and a small accident on the caning of one of the seats, which do not detract from their functionality or aesthetics and give them an authentic patina. The set has been thoroughly cleaned by us, and we have applied wax to hydrate the wood. The screws have been tightened or replaced as needed for very good stability of the whole. Ideal for a dining room, kitchen, or even a conservatory, this table accompanied by its four chairs will add a vintage touch to your decor. To facilitate transport, the table top can be easily unscrewed. Table dimensions: H75.5 x L130 x P88 cm Chair dimensions: H84 x L38 x P44.5 cm Seat height: H45.5 cm
