A pair of bedside lamps known as "bouillottes", in Louis XVI style, dating from the 1950s. These light fixtures rest on a finely chiselled circular brass base featuring acanthus leaf motifs and rows of beads. The shaft is topped with a cream sleeve decorated with raised wax droplet designs, mimicking old candle holders and enhancing their authentic character. The exceptional detail: They are equipped with their original "pagoda" lampshades in powder pink silk, with particularly well-crafted trimmings, providing soft light and a cosy atmosphere, ideal for a bedroom or a living room in neoclassical or maximalist style. The overall condition is remarkable. The silk is clean (no stains or burns), the trimmings are intact, and the brass has a beautiful period golden patina. Technical characteristics: • Materials: Gilded brass, silk, trimmings. • Electricity: Functional original system. Bakelite socket and gilded "obus" switch. Flame bulbs provided. • Style: Louis XVI / Hollywood Regency / boudoir. • Height: 26cm. • Lampshade diameter: 13cm. Perfect for framing a bed or dressing a console, these lamps will add a chic vintage touch and timeless elegance to your interior.
