Old wooden train - beech toy

Antique wooden train, consisting of a locomotive and 4 articulated wagons, connected by metal hooks. The whole set, made of light beech wood, is deliberately simple and robust, with clean shapes: solid wheels, rounded volumes, simple forms. The aesthetic is typical of educational and handcrafted toys from the mid-20th century, designed to last and be handled without fear. The set has clearly been used, with signs of wear visible throughout, as well as an "artist's signature" under each piece, indicating a toy that has truly lived, but it remains in very good condition, with no broken parts, no missing pieces, or abnormal play to report; all assembly elements are present and in very good condition.
