Pendant of paintings made in pencil and graphite representing a couple. Original drawing, museum quality, dating from the 19th century, signed (to decipher: l. Peyion or similar). Beautiful format and superb workmanship, these drawings are made on paper presented on cardboard (period glued on the extreme edges with labels from the art supplier of the time: chorel, saint etienne. Note some soiling of the paper, some minimal foxing and a more visible trace on the background of the portrait of a lady - see photos, contractual. I left these two works on their original cardboard but quite heavy and easy to remove if you prefer to simplify shipping. Dimensions of each sheet: 52 / 68 cm.
