‘Magazine’ easy chair and 2-seater by Michael Young

‘Magazine’ easy chair & 2-seater, designed in 1994 by Michael Young and produced by E & Y CO. In the United Kingdom. The magazine sofa and easy chairs became hugely popular in Japan and went on to win the Best UK Design Award in 1996. The very sturdy aluminium frame supports a polyurethane foam seat and armrests covered with black vinyl leather. The organic open space under the seat can be used for storage of magazines, hence the name of this original piece. There are a few very small signs of use as shown in the pictures, but otherwise, it is in excellent condition. Dimensions of the easy chair: W: 86 cm. D: 65 cm. H: 65 cm. Seating H: 41 cm.
