‘Magazine’ easy chair by Michael Young

'Magazine' easy chair, designed in 1994 by Michael Young and produced by E & Y CO. in the United Kingdom. The magazine sofa and easy chairs became very popular in Japan and won the Best UK Design Award in 1996. The very sturdy aluminium frame holds a polyurethane foam seat and armrests covered with black vinyl leather. The organic open space under the seat can be used as storage for magazines, hence the name of this original piece. In very good condition.
