Jumo 600 lamp - 1st version. 1st edition. The oldest version, the hardest to find. Circa 1940-1945. Created by the Société Nouvelle des Etablissements Jumo. "J U M O" comes from the contraction of the first two letters of the three creators. Their lamps were often found in offices or workshops, so this vintage lamp can be classified within industrial decor, industrial heritage. In 33 years, they produced over 100 models. Very beautiful design for this lamp, with a very pure, minimalist aesthetic, but its false simplicity conceals the thought and work of the designers. This antique light fixture has a remarkable design, with a genuine aesthetic research, a blend of straight lines and curves combined with shiny and matte chrome. Here, the "ball" reflector is fully adjustable. The base is weighted with cast iron and has an integrated switch. The lamp works perfectly. Here is the oldest version of the Jumo 600, therefore rarer. Some signs of use and wear that are normal for a truly old or vintage lamp, which remain rather discreet.
