An exceptional Art Deco table/piano lamp, likely from the 1920s, with a decorated shade and a curved cast brass base. The lamp is made of brass and has a heavy, richly ornamented base. The shade and arm are adjustable via a joint at the base. The lamp is switched on and off using a rotary switch located directly on the socket. Very robustly constructed, it is in good working order*, with some minor wear to the brass. The power cord has been replaced to match the style. The shade is slightly angled (see image 3). The lamp can be used with a standard bulb or an LED bulb (an LED bulb is included). The felt pad has been replaced. Maximum height: 30 cm, maximum depth: 40 cm, shade width: 24 cm, base: 18 × 10 cm. Brass/porcelain socket with E14 rotary switch – linear or LED bulbs. Weight: 1900 g. Cable: 200 cm. *Lamp functionality tested.
