Vintage industrial desk W.M. Cissell, USA, wood and metal top

Antique industrial table made from a base of W.M. Cissell Manufacturing Co., Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The cast iron and metal base features a superb mechanical design with pedals, levers, springs, and embossed markings “Cissell”. The rectangular top combines solid wood with a riveted metal surround, reflecting a strong workshop/loft spirit. A spectacular and highly decorative piece, ideal as a work table, side table, desk, industrial console, boutique furniture, or a statement piece in a contemporary interior. Very nice original patina: signs of oxidation, marks of use, wear on the metal and wood, old traces of paint, and industrial patina. Manufacturer: W.M. Cissell MFG Co.
