Oil on canvas depicting a bouquet of anemones in a vase. By Auguste Kind, painter from Lorraine, born in 1863 in Forbach. Student of Pierre Bourgogne and Charles Thomas. He appeared at the Salon de Nancy from 1896. He had a studio in Paris, Avenue Frochot and Nancy. This painting is exceptional because behind it there is a dedication by the painter himself, this dedication is dedicated to the Royal Duchess of Vendôme, a colorful character, painter and historian Henriette Marie Charlotte Antoinette. A woman of heart and radiant person. A homonymous biography book is dedicated to her by Dominique Paoli in 2006. The inscription on the back of the painting "to my Royal Highness Madame La Duchesse de Vendôme Very respectful homage A.Kind 1929.
