He appeared at the Salon de Nancy from 1896. He had a studio in Paris, Avenue Frochot and Nancy. This painting is exceptional because behind it there is a dedication by the painter himself, this dedication is dedicated to the Royal Duchess of Vendôme, a colorful character, painter and historian Henriette Marie Charlotte Antoinette.
