2 old opaque talking plates from sarreguemines, series "the carnival of proverbs" n°4 and n°8, late 19th century. On scalloped edge. Burgundy floral patterned wing. Humorous scenes illustrating twisted proverbs taken from the vermot almanac. Very good condition, small chips on the edges which in no way affect their appearance. Dimensions: 19.5 X 19.5 X 2 cm.
