Mirror Restoration gilded gold&Ice Mercury/Moulding in medallions/Wood&Stuc/XIXth

Superb mirror of the time restoration with gilded moldings in fine gold in the shape of medallions with openwork interlacing and original mercury ice. Work of the nineteenth century. This mirror has a rectangular wooden frame with on the headband 4 scroll moldings. The moldings are made of stucco. Very good state of conservation and superb patina of the gilding, some small marks are to be noted on the left border. The back of the mirror is protected by a cardboard that is not original.
