Barcelona Mies Van Der Rohe

The Barcelona chair is an iconic creation by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, produced by the Knoll studio. The backrest and seat are woven with strips of cowhide, dyed the same colour as the cushions, which are covered in high-quality leather. The 40 panels are hand-stitched and adorned with buttons, all made from a single piece of leather. Mies van der Rohe's signature and the Knoll Studio logo are featured on the frame. The Barcelona chair measures 75 cm wide, 77 cm high, and 77 cm deep. Seat height: 43 cm. These two Barcelona chairs, produced in 2008 and in very good condition, are made of Sabrina leather Category Z Colour SA836 Coronado beige (a rare colour), with a shiny chrome steel base.
