1950's Vintage Coat Hanger

This coat hanger is believed to be produced in former czechoslovakia, in the 1950’s. It is made of tubular steel painted white with a small red plastic tray at the foot for umbrellas. This red detail is echoed in the red wooden stops at the end of each leg and at the end of each coat hook at the top. This particular model was popular and widely used. You would find these hangers in offices, hospitals, hotels, pubs, but also in private homes. Due to its practicality, its color combination with the almost ‘pop art’ looking red stops, this piece would still make lovely addition to any modern interior. The coat hanger is in very good vintage condition without any damage. The surface has been recently repainted in original colours to its former glory.
