Vintage coat rack

A charming chrome-plated, freestanding coat rack in the style of a parrot, dating from the 1960s, was discovered in a small country hotel near Nevers in the Nièvre region. The head, with its 12 hooks, pivots around an axis for easy access to clothing. Note the signs of age on the upper section (see close-up photos): a testament to its authenticity and vintage charm. The previous owner replaced a missing black plastic end cap with a black-painted cork stopper (see photo). Height 196cm, Width 65cm, Depth 65cm.
