Reproduction engraving, Frank Short plate 2

Reproduction of an engraving "low tide, the evening star, and rye's long pier deserted" by frank short, based on a 1925 book. This wonderfully detailed illustration comes from a series on engraving, published in 1925. Printed on fine paper by photoengraving, itself a type of engraving, and then mounted on a thicker sheet of paper. The print itself is in excellent condition. The backing paper is a beautiful cream color with some slight age-related markings, as you might expect. Dimensions of the support paper: 24 X 30 cm, approximately. Dimensions of the engraving: 15 X 20 cm, approximately.
